□ Explanation

Excerpt from Wikipedia:

Her name means "Lady of Bubastis."

Bastet is known as the cat goddess. However, she was initially worshipped in the form of a lioness. Around 1000 BC, she came to be depicted as a cat or a human with a cat's head. In human form, she often holds a sistrum (a musical instrument similar to a rattle), a shield, or a basket.

Cats are said to be the first animals domesticated by the ancient Egyptians. Cat bones have been discovered in the tombs of nobles in Hierakonpolis dating back to around 6000 BC in the Predynastic Period. It is believed that they were domesticated in the late 4th millennium BC.

From this, it is said that she initially had an aggressive nature as a lion goddess, but was differentiated from other lion-themed gods and became a gentle goddess.

Bastet in Mythology
Bastet is usually considered the daughter, sister, or wife of the sun god Ra.

Bastet is often identified with other goddesses such as Tefnut, Sekhmet, and Hathor, who have the heads of lionesses. From this, Bastet is considered to belong to the "Distant Goddess" and "Eye of Ra" stories, where Ra gouged out his left eye to send it to Earth to punish humans and cause a great slaughter.

Also, in relation to being identified with Tefnut, she became the daughter of Atum and was seen as the one who defeats Apep, the enemy of Atum, and gained the character of a sky god. Furthermore, from being identified with Hathor, she gained the character of a god of music.

In later times, she was made the wife of the creator god Ptah. The lion-headed god Mahes is considered to be the son of Bastet. Anubis is also sometimes considered to be the son of Bastet, rather than Nephthys.
